THE OUTSIDE

Clean up that curb appeal by hiding your cars (off the driveway and curb)
Clean off the front porch
Stow away kids backyard toys and equipment
Tidy up the back deck or entertaining area
Power-wash any concrete and siding that is showing dirt
Clean debris from gutters and roof
Turn all exterior lights on
Mowing and trim the yard
Lay fresh mulch or pine straw
Prune the landscaping
Adjust blinds and window treatments if necessary

THE INSIDE

Clean and declutter your home at every turn
Turn off fans (moving fans look blurry in photos)
Turn on lights for brighter visuals
Adjust window treatments and blinds to hide imperfections or show off scenic views outside the window, like a pool or waterfront amenity
Refresh your bathroom: Remove all your personal toiletries from countertops, clean your sinks and clear out the shower/bath tub
Hide any pets (and all of their accessories)
Tidy your fridge doors by taking off all personal photos, magnets, children’s drawings, etc.
Hide any visible trashcans, as it’s not really a welcoming décor piece in any room – especially the kitchen
